Original Art

Art has been a constant in my life since my earliest memories. My family's early recognition of my love for drawing led me to art school, launching a lifelong journey within the arts. After earning a fine arts degree specializing in set design, I briefly pursued a career in television, working as a set designer. Drawing has always been the cornerstone of my artistic development. Consistent practice and direct observation have significantly shaped my artistic abilities and perspective. Later, I transitioned to mural painting, refining my compositional skills and honing my ability to translate diverse subjects onto large-scale surfaces. My career has encompassed a variety of creative roles, including set designer, restoration specialist, commissioned artist, book illustrator, muralist, and art educator. My oil paintings of wildlife have garnered recognition, been exhibited in galleries, and found homes in esteemed private collections. For many years, I dedicated myself to teaching art in high school, sharing my passion and knowledge with aspiring young artists. I especially enjoy plein air painting. Drawing and the visual arts have profoundly enriched my life, fostering a heightened awareness and appreciation for the beauty and wonder that exists in the world.
